Observation, Social learning and Constructivism

Motivational and Affective Factors propose that learners have intrinsic motivation stimulated by novel tasks to learn. This idea is supported by constructivism, as  cited in Schunk, intrinsic motivation can be said to be related to learning and understanding.

Development and Social Factors suggest that learning is influenced by social interactions. We may propose that this idea sits well with social learning. As pointed out in Schunk, regarding Peer Collaboration, whereby learning occurs during social interactions.

Individual Differences Factors reflect on the fact that Learners have different abilities towards learning, these may be influenced by prior experience and heredity. We may say this concept reflect on Behaviourism. According to Schunk, Behaviorism explain learning in terms of environmental events (experience) whereby behaviour is not necessarily a mental processes.

Mental processes are not necessary to explain the acquisition, maintenance, and generalization of behavior.
